SCHOLARSHIPS
SENIORS: remember it is your responsibility to search for and complete scholarship applications. Do not delay in asking teachers or community members to write letters for recommendation. If a scholarship requires a transcript then you must request this from Mrs. Davis. If you need assistance filling out an application Mrs. Davis and the High School English teachers are more than happy to assist you with proofing an application or essay.
*TIP: Save any essay that you write for a scholarship. Chances are you will apply for another scholarship with a similar essay (a one page essay on your future goals is the most common prompt) and you can simply edit the one you've already written to fit that scholarship's requirements.
The following are a sample of various scholarship applications that are available either online or in the High School Counseling Office. Make sure that you are listening to the announcements to know when new scholarships become available.
